How Canopy Works
with your school
We collaborate closely with SENCOs and staff to deliver carefully planned, quality-assured sessions that are outcome-focused. We can help support your inclusion strategy, the SEN reforms, attendance, enhancement provision and sustainability leadership
Regular sessions
Ongoing, termly Forest School sessions delivered on your school grounds, building long-term relationships and progression.
Alternative provision
Therapeutic, nature-based provision for young people who are struggling to thrive in mainstream education.
Nurture support
Strategically implemented Nurture Groups that help students develop coping mechanisms, interpersonal skills and renewed enthusiasm
Sustainability support
Support for your school's sustainability leadership and climate action plan, with ecological impact reporting.
Curriculum connections
National Curriculum-linked programmes and the National Outdoor Learning Award woven through sessions.
Impact reporting
We record, assess and report progress against individual targets, and produce annual Impact Reports
SEND & SEMH support
Experienced staff tailor sessions to support and address the specific needs of each learner, working closely with SENCOs

The Process
How Canopy works
with your school
1.
Conversation
We start with a conversation with your SENCO and leadership team to understand your inclusion strategy and the needs of your pupils.
2.
Planning
We plan carefully, quality-assured sessions with individual targets linked to EHCPs and areas of need, tailored to each cohort.
3.
Delivery
Our Level 3 Forest School Leaders deliver sessions on your school grounds, working alongside your SENCo and teaching staff.
4.
Reporting
We monitor attendance and engagement, share meaningful assessments, and produce annual Impact and ecological reports.
