Meet The Team

Before appointment, all Canopy Forest School team members complete safer recruitment checks. These include at least two satisfactory written references addressing suitability to work with vulnerable people, a full employment history with any gaps or discrepancies questioned and recorded, in-person identity checks using official documents, and confirmation of the right to work in the UK. Each Level 3 Forest School Leader also holds appropriate insurance, an enhanced DBS certificate and a Level 6 outdoor first aid certificate.

Our team are skilled Forest School practitioners who help people connect with nature. They make nature-based experiences accessible to all and support students with SEND and SEMH needs, using the outdoors therapeutically to help those who may be struggling.
